“Women@TheTable is proud to be a co-founder of the Geneva Gender Champions, which it believes can play a part transforming discourse, strategy and implementation of 21st century gender equality goals.
One of the many ways we seek to do this is through the Geneva Gender Panel Parity Pledge both for the awareness that the process brings to the organizers and panelists, and for the vibrant inclusion of new voices into the mainstream global conversation. We are both determined and thrilled to join forces with institutional partners to make gender equality an every day reality in this century. After all, gender equality is one of the most potent tools available for accomplishing our ambitious and necessary Sustainable Development Goals.”
I, Caitlin Kraft-Buchman, support the GGC Panel Parity Pledge.
As the Executive Director of Women@TheTable, I commit to also undertake the following:
- Deepen Women@TheTable’s work with Geneva Gender Champions in outreach to civil society, the private sector and academia to help create a sustainable, inclusive community, including programming and sets of measurements and evaluation to catalyze and encourage Geneva Gender Champion’s membership to achieve and reach their most ambitious goals.
- Identify, encourage and amplify voices of progressive men who are champions of gender equality, augmenting Women@TheTable’s core work supporting and celebrating women and women’s groups who do ground breaking and heroic work bringing systemic change towards gender equality.
