I, Elhadj As Sy, support the GGC Panel Parity Pledge.

As the Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), I commit to also undertake the following:

  • Improve ratio of women to men in senior and middle management positions at the IFRC.
  • IFRC Strategic Framework on Gender and Diversity should be implemented by IFRC Secretariat, and adopted by at least 50% of its member National Societies for national application.
  • Increase percentage of IFRC-supported programmes and services presenting sex-disaggregated data on results.
