As the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, I commit to also undertake the following:

• Increase effective gender equality programming and integration throughout UNHCR by supporting the development of institutional capacity building and expertise.
• Update the Commitments to Refugee Women with the purpose of advancing the rights of women of concern and implementing concrete measures to improve their protection, including through their strengthened participation in peace and security initiatives.
• Commit to sustaining and improving an equitable, diverse, inclusive and non-discriminatory work environment and workforce through targeted, cross-functional initiatives such as training on unconscious bias and inclusive leadership.
