As the Secretary General of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), I commit to also undertake the following:

• Conduct training on gender-sensitive and inclusive management for senior managers at the WMO Secretariat in Geneva and include a gender sensitivity component in their Performance Appraisal Reports.
• Maintain appropriate gender balance on my executive team and promote gender balance among senior professional staff at grades P-5 and above.
• Develop a WMO Gender Action Plan to operationalize the WMO Policy on Gender Equality.
• Promote participation of women in WMO constituent bodies and their work structures.
