Permanent Representative | Mission of Rwanda to the United Nations in Geneva

As the Permanent Representative of the Mission of Rwanda to the United Nations in Geneva, I commit to also undertake the following:

  • Play an active role in all Human Right Council resolutions aimed at promoting gender equality through protection/promotion of women rights, promoting women empowerment and combatting all forms of injustice and stigma against women and girls.
  • Play an active role or lead initiatives on parallel events, conferences and all other relevant events aiming at exchanging with other Missions, civil society and academia and harmonizing with them views and strategies regarding gender equality.
  • Promote the ideal of gender equality in the Rwandan community in the area of my accreditation, in line with Rwanda’s vision, policies and practices.
