“The rapidly evolving landscape for business requires agility and new business models. Flexible forms of work allow businesses to hire when they need to and to respond to the unpredictable more effectively. If business accommodates flexibility, women’s labour market participation will rise. Flexibility will also benefit other employees. Crucial in making this shift is commitment from top management to make it happen.”
I, Linda Kromjong, support the GGC Panel Parity Pledge.
As the Secretary-General of the International Organization of Employers (IOE), I commit to also undertake the following:
- Ensure, as the Secretary of the Employers’ Group of the ILO, equal gender distribution of Spokespersons’ roles in the various ILO debates.
- Organise an awareness-raising event on the importance of gender parity and the role that employers’ organisations can play in this regard.
